Vancouver Photo Diary

 

Ah a whole week in beautiful Vancouver with my lovely Laura Preston and family of art school students. We get to do amazing spontaneous things together, like watching Gossip Girl while drinking pink champagne. It's impossible to be there for a week and not be inspired. I have about a zillion projects on my to-do list now. One is a video of my time there, which I'm planning on posting as soon as my computer stops crashing ever 20 minutes.  Here's a breakdown of the photos.

That last outfit was for sure my favorite, although a little Forever 21 heavy... I need to branch out where I shop more, perhaps. Luckly a rather sucessful Urban Outfitters trip helped me do just that.

I'm a fan of jewelry, I must say.

My trip to VanCity has been amazing so far. Lots of drinking coffee and looking at the beautiful city skyline and of course all the crazyness that ensues from hanging out with art school students. I'll be posting outfit pics ASAP!

Packing List: Vancouver

This Saturday I'm heading up to Vancouver for a week to visit my dear friend and La Dauphine partner in crime, Laura! I get to take the train which is awesome for a few reasons-

1. Round trip ticket was less that $50

2. No separating of liquids

3. I don't have so stuff a weeks worth of clothes in my dinky carry-on

4. You'd have to try super hard to loose your luggage

Here's the (hopefully) final packing list:

2 Jackets, 3 Sweaters, 3 Tops, 4 Dresses, 2 Pairs of pants, a Scarf, Hot shorts and Maxi skirt

Some pictures from wayyyy too long ago. We're talking like February here... My dream of having an awesome photographer boyfriend finally came true, as Erik accompanied me to Seattle and I shoved a camera in his hands. The blue sweater I found twenty minutes prior at Macy's. It's the softest and smushiest thing I own and I love it to death. There is something about it that makes people come up to me and start petting my shoulder. It's that soft.
And I had no idea how red my hair was until I saw the first picture. Craziness! My amazing hairstylist friend and model for La Dauphine is going to bayalage my hair. For those of you who aren't familiar with the process, it involves painting the ends with the dye and should turn out something like Lily Aldridge's sun kissed look. More pictures and my packing list for Vancouver to come!
