So hello, I'm Kiah. I thought I should first explain how my blog relates to that other blog I run - La Dauphine. My friend and I started La Dauphine a while back as a place where we display photoshoots we did and offer fashion inspiration to our online community of readers. It quickly became more than that. Now we have two clothing lines in the work - Laura's and mine. Both are very different and inspired by whatever we love most at the moment. Hence the creation of this blog. I hope it gives you an insight to my life and what inspires me to create for La Dauphine. Kind of a behind the scenes type of thing.

Now about me:
-I grew up outside of Seattle. The trends here rarely influence my own style for some reason...
-I've always loved fashion, but only recently decided on a career in it.
-I will (hopefully) be attending the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC with a major in Fashion Merchandising. (Still waiting to hear back, when I do you guys will be the first to know!)
-I still have no idea where I want to be in the fashion industry, I just want to be there.
-My style in Summer is completely different than in the Winter. Sometimes I feel like an entirely different person when the seasons change.
-I love to find good deals on clothes. This is my weakness sometimes, I tend to buy 3 things that are cheap and just okay instead of one expensive thing that I love.
-I was a dancer for a very long time. A nice 5 inch heel doesn't even compare to pointe shoes. So I wear heels a lot and end up getting weird looks sometimes.
-How my closet is organized directly influences what I'll wear. So I re-organize it about once a month in order to display my current favorites appropriately.
