Forever 21 Strappy Bodycon Dress

I need this dress immediately! I just saw it online. My relationship with Forever 21 has been love/hate recently, but they hit the target with this dress. It's not the bohemian summer style I usually go for, but what the heck... It will be mine.

Free People VS Washington Weather...

Love the new Free People march catalogue. It's effect is that I have not been dressing appropriately for the wind and the rain Washington is experiencing currently... The switch to my Spring wardrobe may have been preemptive. My favorite part of the catalogue is the maxi skirts and dresses with slits in them. It makes maxi a bit more friendly, I think. Also in love with the tiny knit shorts in the third photo.

 I may need to escape to my local FP store this week...

Lucky Jewels

As much as I love accessories like shoes and headbands, jewelry has never been a huge component to my wardrobe. Until my trip to New York... One stop to the massive Forever 21 in Times Square changed me forever (pardon the pun). This is the story of how I became a jewelry person.

The overflowing tables of sparkly things were too much for me to pass up. I wanted my OWN table of sparkly things at home! Until I got back to the hotel that night I didn't realize just how lucky my finds had been...

Forever 21 Ring, American Apparel Necklace

This necklace was a Black Friday find. (One of only three things I got... Me shopping at 5AM = train wreck.) I'd been coveting the ring online, but having never owned a ring in my life I wasn't sold. In person it is 10x better. I don't know if it's the random way the rhinestones and turquoise rocks are positioned, or how it matches both my Summer and Winter wardrobe. It just works too perfectly with this necklace

Forever 21 Ring

Two things I love about this ring: 1. It's the head of an elephant. On your finger. How awesomely gaudy is that? and 2. Expandable rings just make so much sense to me. This ring turned me into a ring person. I went from ignoring the displays of rings in stores to immediately running to them. The only issue was photographing it... It only stands upside down. So the solution was obviously to turn the upside down picture upside down.

Forever 21 Hinge Bracelet, Cookie Lee Necklace

My grandmother bought me this necklace for my birthday, and it is the perfect thing to make my slightly more out-there outfits a bit more professional looking for work. Found the bracelet at Forever 21, got it home to the hotel and voila. Matching set!
