Who Runs The World?

The answer is  Beyonce. And whoever did the styling and artistic direction on her video. I'm in love with the way the clothes move and work perfectly with the whole post-apocalyptic-militia-of-bad-ass girls feel. Lately I've been falling for anything even slightly apocalyptic. Crazy? Probably. But when something inspires you this much it must be for a reason.

P.S. I had an awesome outfit post planned for what I wore last Friday to a party, and then we didn't take any pictures... Epic fail! I promise this weekend will be different =D

The best tops are sheer in the most random places, like this little number from Urban. Roza did my hair at Robert Leonard in Seattle, that girl can work magic with a brush and hair dryer. Ehh short post today, as usual, more to come with my plethora of new clothes.

Vancouver Photo Diary

 

Ah a whole week in beautiful Vancouver with my lovely Laura Preston and family of art school students. We get to do amazing spontaneous things together, like watching Gossip Girl while drinking pink champagne. It's impossible to be there for a week and not be inspired. I have about a zillion projects on my to-do list now. One is a video of my time there, which I'm planning on posting as soon as my computer stops crashing ever 20 minutes.  Here's a breakdown of the photos.

That last outfit was for sure my favorite, although a little Forever 21 heavy... I need to branch out where I shop more, perhaps. Luckly a rather sucessful Urban Outfitters trip helped me do just that.

My trip to VanCity has been amazing so far. Lots of drinking coffee and looking at the beautiful city skyline and of course all the crazyness that ensues from hanging out with art school students. I'll be posting outfit pics ASAP!
